Squamish Newborn Photography
The Whistler Farmers Market is such a big part of our lives and what we love most about it is the wonderful friends we have made along the way. When I received an email from Renee owner of The Pie Company how excited was I to photograph their family upon the arrival of little Carter. Congratulations Rob and Renee such a fabulous family!
Little Carter came into this world a few weeks early, Yippee we all get to meet him sooner. Upon arrival I was in love again as little Carter so tiny and precious in my arms instantly I knew this baby was going to be a pleasure to photograph. Typically my newborn sessions have all been in the studio where I get my groove and flow on, here I find myself in new photography territory, in the clients home for a newborn shoot. We walk around so I can get a feel for the house and quickly string the session together in my head. Renee had set up Isis’s (big sister) room as prior to the session I mentioned to have the bed ready in the room with the most natural light. It was perfect, bed nice and simple, white. We wrap little Carter all snugly and tight place him up on big sisters bed and away we go. A few snaps here a few snaps there, big sister restless no worries, lets shoot her jumping on mum and dads bed, Carter in mums arms, in dads hands, few family pics then outdoors for the beautiful evening light. Thank you Rob and Renee for allowing me to capture your family during this special tender tiny time it was a challenge as I venture outside my usual routine one that I felt completely welcomed whilst with you for the session. I hope you enjoy these pics for years to come and I look forward to having our kids grow up together in this amazing part of the world we call home.
