Maternity – Wild Lupins

As far as the eye can see lupins wild beautiful lupins!! In full bloom and just perfect for this maternity session. The light was delicious and I was able to play with the light that fell across the field as the sun went down behind the mountains.

Back lit with light rays, portrait shots with ambient flat light, golden patches of light that fall across the field and the beautiful baby bump, even the shade creates and area with bokeh sun bursting through the trees. I could have photographed in this field all evening.

Working with such a stunning backdrop Kerry was a treat to photograph, a new mum to be such sweetness. We laughed as her baby kicked and spoke about the good times ahead. Discussing the joy of being pregnant and how amazing it is, nature truly astounds me sometimes and being pregnant was one of the most amazing things I have ever gone through and can’t imagine living this one life without having experienced it. So grateful to be able to share these times with good friends and enjoy what nature brings.

Such a feminine session one that I am thrilled with the image collection, Kerry thank you for being so beautiful and as we eagerly await the arrival of your bundle of joy, relax and enjoy each kick and squirm as one of life’s miracles – the creation of life!
